An engine you own

You need the revenue layer built before you can hire the person to run it. You have product-market fit, but the way you go to market is guesswork. Sales and marketing are speaking different languages. Maybe you're about to raise, and the growth story doesn't survive a hard look. You don't need a permanent executive sitting in standups forever. You need someone to build the engine, prove it runs, and leave you driving it.

I come in, find why the revenue motion stalls, tell you what to fix, and build it with you. Then I leave. Strategic work only (the thinking, the diagnosis, the architecture, the handoff), not a permanent seat at the table. I've stood up revenue engines across stages and sectors, and the difference here is the exit is planned from day one. We build the engine that turns the demand you already have into revenue, then I get out of the car and you keep driving.

The plan: three phases, then I'm gone.

  1. 1 · Diagnosis
  2. 2 · Design
  3. 3 · Install and Hand Off
PhaseWhat happens
1 · DiagnosisA full read of how you sell today: the revenue motion, the way you go to market, the team, and where you stand against competitors. You get a written assessment of what's working, what isn't, and why.
2 · DesignBuild the engine: the sales process, the revenue motion, the self-serve motion, the positioning, and a clear picture of who you sell to. Everything your team needs to run it.
3 · Install and Hand OffWork alongside your team to install the engine, guide leadership through the shift, and deliver the handoff package. Then I get out.

What you bring

Direct access to founders and revenue leadership (I work directly with decision-makers), honest access to the data (revenue, pipeline, team, what's actually happening), and a willingness to act on the findings.

What you won't get

This is a strategic engagement, not an operational seat. It doesn't include attending your weekly standups, managing your marketing team, or staying on past the defined scope. The engagement is scoped, the deliverables are named, and the exit is planned from day one. If you only need the assessment that tells you what to build, start with the GTM / PLG Audit.

What you own when we're done

a revenue system that runs without me in it, a team trained well enough to keep running it, and a clear, specific read on the permanent hire to make next (and how to lead them). The exit was planned from day one, so the system is yours, not mine.

The cost of staying stuck: keep running on guesswork and you hire someone to run an engine that doesn't exist yet... an expensive way to learn the foundation was never built.

The fit

this is for the founder who needs the revenue layer built before they can hire for it, with real access to the data and the decision-makers, and the will to act on the findings. If you want a permanent executive who attends standups forever, that's not me (and it's the opposite of the point).

Peter accelerated our marketing efforts and transformed the presence of the company. He brought new and efficient ideas that resulted in substantial cost savings while increasing impact. Peter managed the marketing efforts with flying colors.

One fixed price, the same for everyone (no tiers, no ranges, no moving goalpost). See pricing →

One 90-day block, then done. Same price regardless of company size. You leave with a written read of how you go to market, a built-out go-to-market system, a handoff package with the build sequence, leadership guidance through the engagement, and an engine that runs without me in it. Installed, handed over, and I leave. Not a seat.

Nothing here rolls over. Every engagement is one defined result at one public price, with an end date. Want another? Buy another.

I create change. I don't empty your change dish.

A definite return, a definite deliverable, a definite finish.

The quick win AND the engine that keeps winning.
