The free tools run in your browser

The numbers you enter into any free tool (cash on hand, burn rate, revenue, headcount, and so on) are used entirely in-browser to calculate your result. They are never sent to our servers and never stored anywhere. The only thing that leaves your browser is the verdict itself (your status, runway estimate, or score) and only when you actively choose to email or share it.

When a tool uses AI

Some tools use AI to analyze what you give them (for example, reviewing a pitch or scoring an assessment). These are the paid tools, included with the Suite Pass. We run the AI for you, so the text you enter is sent off to be processed and turned into your result. That processing runs on a proprietary blend of systems and best of breed models.

For these AI tools, only the verdict is stored (the read or score we hand back), not the raw text you typed in. We never use anything you enter to train models, and we never sell it. Full stop.

When you give your email address

Your email is used to send you the result you requested. We may also send occasional follow-ups related to the same tools or topics. These will always be directly relevant to what you asked for, not broad marketing.

You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time by emailing hello@jpeterwheeler.com. We will remove your email and your verdict record and confirm when it is done.

Course certificates are public

When you earn a course certificate, it gets a public verification page so anyone you share the link with (an employer, a connection on LinkedIn) can confirm it is real. That page shows your name, the course title, and the date you earned it, and it can be indexed by search engines. You earned it and you choose when to share the link, but we want you to know the page is public by design. If you would rather it not be, email us and we will take it down.

Processors

A handful of processors touch your data when you submit a result by email:

• Supabase stores the verdict and your contact record. Supabase is hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States.
• Resend delivers the email to you. They receive your email address and the result to send.
• PostHog provides product analytics (page views, tool usage). It does not receive the numbers you enter into any tool.
• The AI processing behind the paid tools runs on a proprietary blend of systems and best of breed models. It receives the text you enter into a paid tool, and only to produce your result.

We do not sell your data to anyone, full stop.

How long we keep things

We keep your contact record and your saved verdicts for up to 90 days, then remove them, unless you are an active customer (for example, a Suite Pass member or an enrolled course participant), in which case we keep what we need to run your account.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@jpeterwheeler.com. We will remove it and confirm when it is done.

Cookies

We run PostHog in a cookieless mode, so we do not set tracking cookies on your browser. That means no cookie banner, and nothing following you around the web on our behalf.
