The calls, and what they're for

Results Calls.

Some people call it Founder Therapy. The name is a little cheeky. The calls are not.

Nine calls out of ten, what a founder needs first isn't a framework. It's a person who listens to the actual situation, asks the questions nobody inside the company can ask, and tells the truth about what they hear. That's the work.

One of the things that bothers me most about discovery calls is that the vendor never comes knowledgeable. No effort. That's why I don't do discovery.

No qualification questionnaire. Four lines about you and your objective, so I arrive researched instead of asking you to explain yourself for twenty minutes. Who you are, your org, your product, what you are trying to make happen. Then I show up prepared, not discovering.

How the ongoing calls work

How buying works

One call, and it's the same call whoever you are.

There is no qualifying tier that decides which version of me you get, and no intake that sorts you before we speak. One call, no discovery call in front of it.

Here is the mechanic, and it is not a marketing flourish. An invoice always issues. It arrives with the number blank. You write in what the call was worth to you.

Zero is a real answer. Not a test, not a door that closes behind you, not something I remember about you later. If the call didn't earn a number, it didn't earn a number, and I would rather know that than collect on it.

You don't have to guess at that number alone. Near the end of the call, I'll name what we just did in market terms: the same shape as the $1,000 Rapid Result other people pay for. We already did it. That's not a sales trick, it's an honest number to calibrate against, because the work actually happened. What you write on the invoice is still yours to decide.

Book 90 minutes, designed for 75.

Booked calls run long. One real call ran 132 minutes. So the last 15 minutes of the booking is buffer on purpose, not slack that happened to be left over: an 80-minute call inside a 90-minute booking ends early and reads as generous, not like it spilled over.

Four segments, in order. The frame (10 minutes): I arrive researched and say the shape of the call out loud. Your agenda (55 minutes): whatever you came for, a problem, a demo, a decision, or just talking it through. It's genuinely yours, not an itinerary I run. A transition (10 minutes) where I name what we did and what it's worth. Homework and close (15 minutes): what to do Monday, the invoice, plus the buffer.

Twelve weeks of calls.

$6,000

Some things don't resolve in an hour, and pretending otherwise is how people end up on retainer forever. So there's a block: twelve weeks, a frequency you choose, bought up front. Nothing rolls. Nothing renews by default. It ends when it says it ends.

Twelve weeks, $6,000, billed monthly. One term, one number, in the open before you buy. Billed monthly because that is easier on your cash flow than one invoice, not because this is a subscription... it does not renew when the twelve weeks end. Want another twelve weeks after that? Ask for another twelve weeks.

Both run the same three questions: what are you looking for (the long-term ask), what do you need (the short-term read), what can we do (the immediate action). You leave every call with all three answered.

What people bring

The deal on the table

A live deal you can't afford to blow, worked in the specifics: the buyer, the timeline, the conversation you have to have next.

The honest read

Where is the money not showing up, and why. The diagnosis before any prescription, from someone with no incentive to find a bigger problem than you have.

How you sell

The model itself: founder-led, sales-led, self-serve, some mix. Most founders were handed one answer. We work out yours.

The hard call you're carrying alone

A turning point, a partner conversation, a pivot, a hire. Somebody honest to think it through with, who tells you the truth and lets you decide.

When a call surfaces something bigger than a call can fix, there are packaged engagements each with one defined result, one published price, and an end date. And if what you need isn't something I do, I'll tell you that too.

This is one of the most impressive calls I have been on. You are sitting here unafraid to challenge a way of thinking, and I am starting to see things through a different lens.
Chris Daglow, Founder & CEOafter a first call
It's a joy to work with someone who quickly determines your level of urgency, and supports it in the appropriate way. He's always aware of the latest developments, and what path we should take to get where we need to be. Highly recommend.
